A) INTRODUCTION:
“Dhruv
Rathee” a YouTuber, FB’ER who claim himself as a activist, expose the lies
spreading in India to make people fool. He is a staunchest believer of Science as
a solution for everything. And Recently He posted a link(see above), as a
evidence/ facts, like other religious scriptures, Qur’an also contain
scientific errors. His one side claim Qur’an contain errors are allegation of
bias, that must be refuted.
As a Muslim I took a Challenge to refute
his each and single false claims about Qur’an and Islam. Dhruv who call himself
as exposing lies and false rumors, its seem like he fallen to prey himself in spreading
lies and false propaganda without checking the authentic, verifying, are
picking things blindly from Google.
Disclaimer: I am no where calling him
as Enemy of Islam or Muslims. He has own personal believe as Atheist or
Agnostic. Allah knows the best. I still believe, He is logical and fair minded
person (So far), I appreciate many of his work but He when comes to proving
errors in Quran, He simply take U turn from his own Work Ethics and
crush/ tramped it beneath the feet.
“There is no compulsion
in Religion” Qur’an ch 2 Verse 256.
“And insult not those
whom they (disbelievers) worship besides Allah, lest they insult
Allah
wrongfully without knowledge.” Qur’an Ch 6 Verse 108.
Qur’an invites for open discussion/ debate
but in a constructive manner.
“Invite
(all) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue
with them in ways that are best and most gracious” Qur’an ch 16 Verse 125.

B) DEFINITION OF “SCIENCE AND SCIENTIFIC”
“The intellectual and practical activity encompassing the
systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world
through observation and experiment based on or characterized by the methods and principles
of science”
Science all about the Study of activity, behavior, action of
this world and universal (including the all living and Non Living) to reach its
ultimate cause or result.
There are two types of Science Analysis 1) Theoretical 2)
Factual.
Theoretical : Means Scientific theory's which normally base on
assumption, which cannot be acceptable as truth, if these Scientific theory's
back up by or with the Scientific facts and logic, established facts then it
will be acceptable, if its proved .
Factual: Means Scientific Facts which prove base on established
proof and evidence, which can’t be deny or inevitable to reject the phenomena.
Scientific Theories can be wrong, it can take U turn in future i.e
Earth Center of the Universe earlier scientist believes but it proven
wrong later in future. But established Scientific Facts cannot be proven wrong.
C) ALLEGATIONS “ERRORS IN QUR’AN”:

THE QUR'AN SAYS THAT SEMEN IS PRODUCED BETWEEN THE BACKBONE AND
THE RIBS.
"Now let man but think from what he is created! He is created
from a drop emitted - Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs:"

But we all know that semen does not form between the backbone and
the ribs.
Acording to modern anatomy and physiology:
Semen is mostly water, but it also contains amino acids and protein,
sugars, minerals, and in fertile men sperm cells!
The combination of fluids that comprise the seminal fluid
are produced by a series of male sex glands: namely the prostate, seminal
vesicle, and bulbourethral (Cowper’s) glands. Sperm are produced in the testes,
stored in the epididymis, and forced into the urethra through the vas
deferens during ejaculation.
2)
THAT THE QURAN STATES THE EARTH IS FLAT:
[He] who made for you the earth a bed [spread out] and
the sky a ceiling and sent down from the sky, rain and brought forth thereby
fruits as provision for you.
22nd verse of chapter 2 (sūrat l-baqarah).

The whiptail lizard is an all-females species. Bacteria reproduce by
cell division. Fungus can reproduce either sexually or asexually. Many species
of plants also reproduce either asexually or through pollination.

of course there are many other scientific mistakes in the Quran as in all
relgious books.
1) THE QURAN SAYS THAT SEMEN IS PRODUCED

Firstly:
Where the Qur’an said Semen form between the
backbone and the ribs? I challenge him(Writer of article) to prove it. He(Writer
of article) puts his own words in the Qur’an.
Qur’an said “proceeding from between the
back bone and the ribs”
referring to the one of the Embryonic function and besides that he
giving the half information and ignoring the rest, a person who call himself
scientific and logical, and exposing lies, himself indulging in it.
Let see what Qur’an says.
“Now let man but think from what he is created! He is created from a drop
emitted – Proceeding from between the back bone and the ribs.”
[Al-Qur’an 86:5-7]
In embryonic stages, the
reproductive organs of the male and female, i.e. the testicles and the ovaries,
begin their development near the kidney between the spinal column and the
eleventh and twelfth ribs. Later they descend; the female gonads (ovaries) stop
in the pelvis while the male gonads (testicles) continue their descent before
birth to reach the scrotum through the inguinal canal. Even in adulthood after the
descent of the reproductive organs, these organs receive their nerve supply and
blood supply from the Abdominal Aorta, which is in the area between the
backbone (spinal column) and the ribs. The lymphatic drainage and the venous
return also go to the same area.
What Qur’an speaks about the
Embryology in Qur’an perfectly matches with the modern Science recently

2) THAT THE QURAN STATES THE EARTH IS
FLAT:
[He] who made for you the earth a bed [spread out] and
the sky a ceiling and sent down from the sky, rain and brought forth thereby
fruits as provision for you.
22nd verse of chapter 2 (sūrat l-baqarah)
And the earth have We laid out, how
gracious is the Spreader (thereof)!
48th verse of chapter 51 (sūrat l-dhāriyāt).
Refutation:
I am Amazed, where Qur’an said
Earth is flat in these verses? (English
translation from “Sahi International”) Any person who believe that these
verses referring earth as flat, he/ she has to be a no proper understanding and who done no cross verification at all,
blindly picking things from unauthentic website.
Let see what Qur’an says.
Firstly:
“Who has made the earth your couch, and the heavens your canopy; and sent
down rain from the heavens; and brought forth therewith Fruits for your
sustenance; then set not up rivals unto Allah when ye know (the truth).”
[Qur’an ch 2 Verse 22] English Translation Yusuf Ali.
Qur’an 2 Verse
22. The Arabic word mentioned in the
Qur’an ch 2 Verse 22 for “Bed (spread out)” is “firāshan”( فِرَاشًا) and its Noun Arabic word.
There are many English translations given by the
Scholars:
Muhsin Khan: “Resting
place”
Pickthal: “Resting place”
Yusuf Ali: “Resting place”
Tafsir Ibn Kathir/
Kaseer : “Resting place” page no 118.
Sahi International: [“Bed” (Spread out)] it’s
one of the verb (form I) derive from “farashnāhā”
The most the Qur’an scholars translated this
word into “resting place” Means where Human being lives’, stays etc… Even I take the Translation “Bed or spread
out” and read the entire verse, we will come to know its correct meaning in
context and still it’s meaning no where
designate earth is flat at all.
Secondly:
Many people have problem
understanding Arabic, translated English word “Spread out/ like a carpet”
Qur’an ch 51 Verse 48
“And the earth have We laid out, how gracious is the Spreader (thereof)!”
[ Pickthal Translation]
The Arabic word used here is “farashnāhā”( فَرَشْنَاهَا ) Verb (form I) - to
spread. “Laid out or to spread out” no
issues synonyms.
There is another Qur’an verses normally many
Non Muslim and Atheist object that “Qur’an says earth is flat “As spread out
like a carpet” and they quote Qur’an verse from Ch 71 Verse 19.
"And Allah has
made the earth for you as a carpet (spread out)."
[Al-Qur’an 71:19]
If anyone wants to understand Qur’an, he should try and understand as
whole, don’t rely on one verse or half quoted verses, without checking its
correct translation, back ground, context and without considering other Qur’an
verses.
For example:
Qur’an verse ch 71 Verse 19 “Earth for you as
carpet/ spread out like a carpet” then
Next verse says “"That ye may go about therein, in spacious
roads." [Al-Qur’an 71:20]
Ch 71 Verse 19 verse
is not complete. It continues in the next verse, explaining the previous verse.
A similar message is
repeated in Surah TaHa:
"He Who has made
for you the earth like a carpet spread out; has enabled you to go about therein
by roads (and channels)...."
[Al-Qur’an 20:53]
The surface of the earth i.e. earth’s crust is less than 30 miles in
thickness and is very thin as compared to the radius of the earth which is
about 3750 miles. The deeper layers of the earth are very hot, fluid and
hostile to any form of life. The earth’s crust is a solidified shell on which
we can live. The Qur’an rightly refers to it like a carpet spread out, so that
we can travel along its roads and paths. Not a single verse of the Qur’an says
that the earth is flat. The Qur’an only compares the earth’s crust with a
carpet.
Qur’an said Earth is
geospherical in shape
The Qur’an mentions the actual shape of the earth in the following verse:
"And we have made the earth egg shaped".
[Al-Qur’an 79:30]
The Arabic word Dahaha means egg shaped. It also means an expanse. Dahaha
is derived from Duhiya which specifically refers to the egg of an ostrich which
is geospherical in shape, exactly like the shape of the earth.
Thus the Qur’an and modern established science are in perfect harmony.

What about the Hermaphrodite and Parthenogenesis (asexual, sexless) species?
1- Hermaphrodite species are those that
have both the male and female organs and can reproduce by themselves due to
those organs:
"The term is sometimes used inaccurately to describe
reproduction modes in hermaphroditic species which can reproduce by themselves because
they contain reproductive organs of both sexes." (Source : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parthenogenesis)
Certainly, these species do not contradict at all the Glorious Quran. On the contrary, they further prove Allah Almighty's Divine Claims, because here we have a group of species that still need to reproduce by having the pairs in them. Yes, it would be one specie reproducing by itself, assuming that this is scientifically accurate to begin with, since much of these studies are still unconfirmed theories, as shown below, especially in the microscopic world, but be as it may, each species in this group, nonetheless:
1.
Is still a
representation of the pairs. It could be one or the other or both.
2.
Wouldn't be able to
reproduce if it didn't have those two organs in it.
3.
Still produces both
males and females, as further shown below.
Therefore, this group
of species certainly testifies to the Divine Miracle of the Glorious Quran,
because the pairs exist among them.2- Parthenogenesis species are asexual or sexless. They are believed to not have any sex in them:
"Parthenogenesis (from the Greek παρθένος parthenos, "virgin", + γένεσις genesis, "creation") is a form of asexual reproduction found in females, where growth and development of embryos occurs without fertilization by a male. In plants, parthenogenesis means development of an embryo from an unfertilized egg cell, and is a component process of apomixis. The offspring produced by parthenogenesis are always female in species that use the XY sex-determination system.
Parthenogenesis occurs naturally in some invertebrate animal species (e.g. water fleas, aphids, nematodes, some bees, some Phasmida, some scorpion species, and parasitic wasps), and vertebrates(e.g. some reptiles,[1] fish, and very rarely birds[2] and sharks[3]) and this type of reproduction has been induced artificially in other species.Parthenogenesis is seen to occur naturally in aphids, Daphnia, rotifers, nematodes and some other invertebrates, as well as in many plants. two like chromosomes determine the male sex (such as the ZW sex-determination system),
because the process involves the inheritance and subsequent duplication of only
a single sex chromosome. The offspring may be capable of sexual reproduction,
if this mode exists in the species. In many cases, parthenogenesis occurs when
one gender (typically the male) is unavailable in the general vicinity. Once
males are again available, the parthenogenesis-created females would be capable
of mating with the males and creating normal offspring.[4]" (Source)
1- Never unlocked all of the deep secrets of how these animals truly reproduce.
2- Are unsure of how exactly the reproduction occurs with these species.
3- These species are NOT ASEXUAL because they still do produce males and females as the red quotes above clearly state.
4- The scientists’ claims are no more than speculations at best! They are uncertainties and doubts; unconfirmed science.
Therefore, to use this bogus nonsense against Islam and against Allah Almighty is not acceptable. The scientists seem to have yet still to scratch the surface of unlocking the deep secretes of how these animals truly reproduce. All they have right now are unconfirmed and uncertain speculations, statements and theories. But in all cases, we still have the male and female reproductions among these species! So yes, the pairs are still there in these communities.
A single specie of them is still either a male or female according even to those scientists. It is not a true asexual specie, and the scientists themselves are clearly uncertain about what to make of these species.

scientific mistakes in the Quran as in all relgious books.

Qur’an many places
says Man/Human being created from “Dust,
Water, Sperm”
Is man created from sperm or dust or water?
At one place the Qur’an mentions that man is created from sperm and in
another place it mentions that man is created from dust and in another place it
mentions that man is created from dust. How can you scientifically prove that
man is created from dust?
1)
Created from Dust:
"(Consider) that We created you out of dust". [Al-Qur’an 22:5]
We now know that all the elements present in the human body (i.e. the
constituent elements of the human body), are all present in the earth in small
or great quantities. This is the scientific explanation for the Qur’anic verse
that says that man was created from dust.
2)
Created from Sperm: "Was he not a drop of sperm emitted (in
lowly form)"? [Al-Qur’an Ch 75: Verse 37]
3)
Created from Water: “It is He Who has created man from water”.
[Al-Qur’an ch 25 Verses 54]
Today Modern Science discovered that Cytoplasm which is the
basic substance of the living cell contains 80% water. Every living creature
contains 50 to 70% water, and without water, the living creature cannot survive.
Science has proved all the three statements to be correct. Man has been
created from sperm, dust as well as water.
Thus there is no contradiction in the Qur’an when it says that man is
created from sperm, dust and water. It is not a contradiction but a
contradistinction. Contradistinction means speaking about two different
concepts on the same subject without conflict. For instance if I say that the
man is always truthful and a habitual liar, it is a contradiction, but if I say
that a man is always honest, kind and loving, then it is a contradistinction.
D) CONCLUSION:
If “Dhruv
Rathee” and likes of him, fail to understand Qur’an it does not mean Qur’an is
wrong in fact they are wrong. We Muslim Believe that Qur’an is word of Allah/
God and it’s far superior to Science.
As I mentioned earlier
that Science as definition means “Study on behavior or action and its final
outcome” and the knowledge of Science is limited, it’s still developing,
Sciences don’t have the 100% knowledge about the whole world and universe and Science
don’t have all answers to all things, its still developing only. Islam only religion is compatible with
Science, there is not a single ERROR Established Scientific fact mentioned in
the Qur’an, it’s my challenge. If any scientific theory contradicts with
Qur’an, scientific theory will be rejected.
Finally:
Why Dhruv never speak about the scientific facts mentioned in the Holy
Qur’an 1400 year ago, which science discovered recently? Who could have mentioned these facts?
